Black Moth Super Rainbow have earned a PLUG award nomination for avant album of 2007, have opened for The Flaming Lips on their Fall 2007 Tour and have crafted their own unique blend of psychedelic bubblegum electropop. Their distinctive sound is characterized by analog electronic instruments including the vocoder, Rhodes piano, and Novatron.
