Canada-born, London-based singer-songwriter TESS PARKS‘ recently released her third solo album, ‘Pomegranate’, via Hand Drawn Dracula and is today sharing a video for “Running Home To Sing”.

On the video, Tess Parks said “I guess subconsciously, through working with Joe Bressler on this video and his interpretation of the lyrics, this song is about anything you feel an unhealthy attachment to, and having the courage to change the things that you can and finding the inner strength to set yourself free. There is such a happier life waiting for you. The things that are right for you will remain, but the right people and the right circumstances will always reveal themselves once you make the space. I promise you. Thank you for all the love for this album so far – it means a lot a lot.”

Written and recorded between London, Toronto and Los Angeles, Pomegranate finds Parks teaming up with long-term bandmember and close collaborator Ruari Meehan, who assumes production duties here and co-mixed the album alongside GRAMMY-nominated engineer Mikko Gordon (The Smile, Gaz Coombes, Arcade Fire). Where ‘Dancing’ retained a fair measure of bedroom-demo charm, on ‘Pomegranate‘ the canvas is bigger, with Meehan’s arrangements stretching all the way to the horizon.
