“For listeners willing to dive deep into Crowe’s world, the album functions well as a forced entry into darkness and unnamable despair” – SLUG Magazine

“Brand new Toronto supergroup Yi prove art rock is “Not So Dead” on this searing EP teaser – Thurston Moore once said “Teenage Riot” was about appointing J Mascis as a de facto alternative dream president; when “Not So Dead” changes direction halfway through with a searing new guitar melody, you could easily believe Mascis got a second term in office.” ~ THE LINE OF BEST FIT

PRAISES “The Devil” video premieres on CHARTATTACK and local shows announced.

“The co-leader of Toronto shoegazers Beliefs debuts an otherworldly video for her dusted pop solo project. In Jesse Crowe’s Praises, you can still hear the same knack for sweeping melody displayed in the fuzzier shoegaze project Beliefs. It’s good music for impromptu journeys, and in her video for the “The Devil” we’re treated to a living room performance (shot by her father) superimposed with footage of a trip through Iceland.” ~ CHARTATTACK
